THE IMPACT OF CAMPUS MINISTRY
We asked college and university alumni of non-Adventist institutions to share how God used campus ministry chapters like WASA in their lives, and how those experiences continue to be impactful today.
Nadia Nosworthy
I am currently an assistant professor at Andrews University in the School of Education.
I was actively involved in public campus ministries for my 6 years in graduate school and served on the executive committee for 1 year as VP Events. Campus ministries greatly affected my studies and life in a very positive way. My relationship with Christ was strengthened as a direct result from our weekly LIU meetings, outreach efforts and annual retreats to Camp Frenda. It was a wonderful blessing to be able to pray and study the Bible with other young people.
Some of my best recollections of Western are of WASA and the friendships that I made (and still have!). I also know that having this supportive network was crucial to the successful completion of my studies. I am very grateful for such wonderful memories!
